Hi Shades,

Due to the fact that 90% (or even more) of hosting companies block external connection to their MySQL servers, is there any plan (or is it even possible) to include the SEDCS tool as another php module?

Hi Anubis,

It is possible to convert the DCS to a PHP application, but there are no plans to do this for the following reasons:

1. It would be a very heavy duty PHP application, and may upset the hosting companies with its resource demands.
2. It would take a lot of time and effort to do the conversion.
3. Java would probably be a better platform for the DCS than PHP. There are no plans to do this conversion either.
