If the spelling error is the same in IL2. it make sense not to change it in the SEOW dbd.

IL2 ver.4.10 should be close by, but I expect it will take some time to make seow ready to use it.

Oh, you are talking about the "fe" in "242Squadronfe"? Doesn't "fe" just mean "Far East"?

With the outbreak of war in the Pacific, the RAF sent out four squadrons (Nos. 17, 135, 136 & 232) to reinforce Malaya, Singapore and Burma. All flew Hurricane Mk.IIb's. RAF 242, 258, 488 & 605 Squadrons, also flying Hurricane IIb's were sent out later when it was apparent that things weren't going well. Some arrived in Singapore during the final days, but then diverted to Java or Burma when the position on the peninsula became untenable. The situation at Java was little better and became the scene of desperate fighting as February passed into March. Always short of aircraft and circumstances bordering on a bloody shambles. No.242 Squadrons first action was over Java, against IJAAF fighters (Ki-27) on the 20th February, 1942. IJNAF Zeros being first encountered on the 25th. The Japanese landed in Java on the 1st March, 1942, but fighting continued till the 8th when the Dutch surrendered. After a final recon flight, No.242 Squadron destoyed their remaining aircraft and some personel eventually escaped to Australia.

If I remember correctly, it goes something like this ...

Case 1: Radar not enabled, so there is no need for the Radar aircraft to stay in the air. No fuel is allocated, preventing the game from having to calculate air performance for the plane.

Case 2: Radar is enabled, so the Radar aircraft must stay in the air the entire mission. Therefore, DCS gives it lots of fuel and enough waypoints for 5+ hours flying! :)

Exact!
It was the reason.
I will change Radar Control --> PZL P.11c for El Alamein (only for host)

Many thanks Mike as usual

Shades,
which is the reason why the B25 MUST stay in flight?

Hi Gross,

The B-29 radar controller will only write the radar logs if it is active in the mission. If it is AI and it lands, then soon IL-2 will remove the airframe and radar logging will stop.

The best way to prevent this is to give the B-29 radar controller waypoints to keep it in the air for a long time, at least until the mission ends. The DCS automatically writes waypoints for 5 hours continuous flight - more than enough for most SEOW missions!!

Cheers,
