Temporary Airbases

I have still never done this. Shades or anyone, would you please post some instructions or point me in the right direction concerning temporary airbases? Thank you in advance!

I would check your database configuration page to make sure it is set correctly for the sector you have initialized. If that is not the problem, I have no idea what it could be, but the solution you mentioned should work.

SE Xtreme Open Test Missions

Hello, SEOW fans! I wanted to invite you guys to fly some open test missions that I will be hosting either myself or on the Sea of Madness server on HL over the next week or so. I will be online with missions ready in Italy 1943 and Iwo Jima 1944 starting at 2100 EDT. We will also be hosting a Stali...

This is my understanding of the Enforced Landings option:

Any landing event at any airfield will suffice. If the player is still in the air at the time the server shuts down, the pilot will be considered KIA and the aircraft will be considered to be destroyed.

I like the rule that says:

If you goof up and add a reinforcement or top up mission by mistake, you simply have to live with it. :D

I'm so Xtreme, aren't I?

Be very careful when planning reinforcement flights, especially Top Ups! :)

Actually, I don't exactly know why reinforcement plans cannot be cancelled and why Top Ups cannot even be seen in the MP after they are committed. Let's see what Shades has to say about this one...

Oh, the whining I have heard about this feature over the past week or so! Thanks for the explanation. I think this will help some players understand how to deal with this feature in a more positive way. Right now, most want it turned off. :)

As long as the base speed presented to the mission planner as he/she creates waypoints are reasonably accurate, I think we are good for now. Building altitude-dependent correction factors and altitude-dependent maximum speeds would be a luxury that only those involved with coding can determine the w...

Yes, this means the template builder has used moving objects with waypoints and these waypoints are causing the script error. There are three ways to resolve this issue: 1) Use the new DCS 'Remove in Progress' function to flush the Waypoints table in the database. 2) Use Navicat to Empty the Waypoin...
