Partial success... we now have 151 bridges that we did not have before, but this is still probably only half of them... and from the errors I got on reanalysis, did not include all the bridges that were destroyed in the first mission. The bridges that are still missing are the more western and south...

Could these have been switched in SEDB32D? We just today started a campaign on the Kiev map and noticed the absence of bridges. (Got bridge errors in the analysis of the first mission... then commanders pointed out they couldn't toggle bridges on and off). I looked at the bridges table in the Kiev D...

Closer inspection reveals that the *pf* maps have changed some of the airfields, so the changes are more than cosmetic.

Request: simple factory target change

Not wanting to hijack the proposal thread I'll start a new one. I would like to request that the Kettenkrad that is currently used as the industral target object in axis factories be replaced by something that is equivalent to the vehicle (GAZ M1) used in allied factories. The kettenkrad is signific...

Ah so the AP_Kiev link is a coming attractions teaser? :) If the changes to the *pf* maps are purely cosmetic, changing the load strings should work fine. My problem is I don't follow the mods, so I don't know if there have been substantive changes in these maps like there have been in the AP_Kiev m...

Speaking of the AP_Kiev map, what do we need to do to get it? I tried to import a blank .mis file using " MAP AP_Ukraine/load.ini" as the MAP line in HSFX4.11 full mission builder and the program just hung. The same file with the map line "MAP Kiev/load.ini" loads just fine. I al...

Our commanders were unable to see the placed objects but attributed that to the scale of the zone maps they had been using. It was only after we had detailed airfield maps that it became obvious that the Betty and Li-2 were behaving differently from each other. Thanks for the explanation and updates...

Glad you like them Dore. I learned a few tricks doing the Crimea airfields that made doing this set much easier but perhaps even better aligned to the local grid. It helps when you get off on the right foot. I learn from my mistakes. :-)

Singapore Airfield Maps

I have created a set of detailed airfield maps for the fifteen airfields on the Singapore map (Singapore 2). The scale of each is approximately 6 km in the East/West dimension and they include grid lines to aid in the placement of units. If you would like to try them, you can get them here: http://w...

As a PBO with cargo capacity a Betty could be loaded just fine. Is there an important technical reason why the unloading process would have different requirements than the loading process? Was the PBO -> PTR edit documented elsewhere? I had searched the forums and wiki before doing this and only fou...

OK, it was the PBO -> PTR that I missed. :-)

Presumably it can still carry bombs as a PTR?

Our problem of spawning into ground units on the runway may be a problem of my own making. I gave the Betty some cargo capacity and we are using it to bring in air cargo from off map. The Logistics/Freight unloading process does not appear to work properly for the Betty. Unloaded cargo is always dum...

OK, Pion, but I am thinking of setting the allied-controlled airfields to "takeoffpoint" to see if this puts the spawn point at the opposite end of the airfield from the "dump" point. Whether this works will depend on whether the "spawn" and "dump" points have...

Toggle air units option

Would it be difficult to implement a "Toggle Air Units" option in Mission Planner? Such an option would make it easier for loadmasters and safety officers to check for CSIGU (Controlled Spawn Into Ground Unit) risks. As it is now, ground units can remain hidden under displayed air units.
