Re: Bug Reports: SEDB73, MP4 v7.3.x, SEDCS v7.3.x
Official SEDB75 database I have finally produced the official SEDB75 database and made it available for download at the usual place, https://sourceforge.net/projects/seow/files/ . It contains support for air, sea and ground operations in 96 different sectors, including two new maps specific to Iron...

Re: Bug Reports: SEDB73, MP4 v7.3.x, SEDCS v7.3.x
New minor releases: MP v7.3.109, SEDCS v7.3.17 These versions consolidate administration tools for running web service requests via the DCS (e.g. for meta-campaigning) and improve performance of some Ajax-related tools and unit/crew management in the MP. DCS changes *) Improved strictness of Meta_Fo...

Re: Bug Reports: SEDB73, MP4 v7.3.x, SEDCS v7.3.x
Changes in the latest PHP engine have meant that the original MySQL extension to PHP is no longer supported. This latest PHP engine is now being used by the hosting service that SEOW HQ uses. Consequently we have seen that the SEOW HQ forums, Mission Planner and Wikis have been affected lately. I am...

Re: Bug Reports: SEDB73, MP4 v7.3.x, SEDCS v7.3.x
Feature update: blank campaign templates This feature is available with MP4 v7.3.88, SEDCS v7.3.11 and SEDB75 (slight additions to SEDB74). The purpose of the feature is to allow the admin to initialize a campaign without using a template file, i.e. creating a blank campaign with no units on the ch...

Re: Reliability Factor Effects on Ships ?
Hi Ullery, As it stands right now, SEOW does not support definition of new chunks for damage modelling on ships. Chunk definitions are hard coded in SEOW. If someone wanted to change the chunk monitoring code in SEOW, they would need to change the relevant DCS subroutines and perhaps the DB Ship_Dam...

Re: Reliability Factor Effects on Ships ?
Yes, this is what the Ship_Damage_Status table is for. Ordinarily, the DCS manages the data in the Ship_Damage_Status table using partial damage information reported in the eventlog for each mission (see https://seowhq.net/seowwiki-en/index.php?title=Partial_Damage_of_Shipping ). But there is nothin...

Re: Reliability Factor Effects on Ships ?
Hi Kopfdorfer, In a word, yes. 1. The weather parameters in each mission determine the maximum attainable speed for each ship type, according to a sea state equation I put together. Essentially this results in the maximum speed in Object_Specifications being multiplied by a percentage reduction fact...

Re: Radar Configurable by Campaign Designer ???
Hi Kopfdorfer, Clearly SEOW Radar operates independently from any IL2 game properties. This is not exactly true. In HSFX there is a Radar Mod that generates radar contact output every few minutes, based on the number and type of radar detectors in the mission (ships, ChainHome objects etc). The oper...

Re: Exploring the Uses for Factory Plates
Hi Kopfdorfer, My problem is that I am looking for visual reference for damage having been caused in game. SEOW provides that automatically by adjusting damage parameters on scenery objects based on nearby combat actions and environmental damage. You can also do this manually for any template-placed...

Re: Exploring the Uses for Factory Plates
Hi Kopfdorfer, Factory plates are handled internally in HSFX and SEOW according to partial ship damage methodology. Relevant parts of the Wiki are https://seowhq.net/seowwiki-en/index.php?title=Factory_Production_and_Reinforcements https://seowhq.net/seowwiki-en/index.php?title=SE_Airbase_Programmin...

Re: Possible bug with SubtypeVIIC_SrfwithBeacon
Yes.
But the MP needs to understand exactly which types of submarines can go deep. It does this via some JavaScript code which, if I recall correctly, does not include the beacon variant at the moment.
Cheers

Re: Supply Point config Problems
Start from scratch again, and try one change at a time, checking as you go.
You don't mention how you tried to configure the Supply Point. Were you using the MP tool for doing this, or were you simply editing the DB table?
