Hello Gross, Nice talking to you again and thanks very much for your reply, it is very useful information. Would you perhaps be available for a TS conversation at the giap? Perhaps this evening? Besides the server, I would be very interested to talk to you about the upcoming multi sector campaign an...

Infantry effectiveness

Hi all, I notice there are infantry types for all the major nationalities in the new HSFX versions and I would be interested to try them but I'm unsure how they hold up against tanks and other vehicles? Does anyone have any experience with using infantry types in SEOW? Any recommendations? Thanks! C...

Hi Camel,

I would be very interested in using the updated map as I'm in the process of designing a very historically accurate Normandy campaign.

Which extra RR stations do you have in mind?

What would it take to be able to use this new map in SEOW?

Thanks!

Best,
Petr

Hi 4Shades, Thanks for your quick reply as always. Forgive my newbeeshness but off course I have more questions... :-) Hi Petr, Nice to hear what you are working on. Here are some comments. First, in your template you may have used some Chiefs (mobile ground objects) to help define starting location...

Greta work and great order of battle and could make an interesting scenario.

Question though, why have you dropped all units except for the tanks? No arty, flak, AT, etc... or am I missing something?

Cheers,
Petr

Zoom in SEOW mission planner

How difficult would it be to allow zoom in in the seow mission planner like you can in the full mission builder? If at all possible off course. The reason I ask is that allowing a further zoom in would give ground commander much more control over the ground units path, leading to less problems becau...

All players should lower there graphics settings also a bit from normal for SEOW missions, that could help on some disconnections. Also make sure everybody have the same network setting on il2, 56 or isdn. Do your ground/sea/supply/recon movements on different hour then the flying mission hour. Thi...

Hi guys, I've been taking some time to get more experience with the seow software and I've been building a template for a Normandy campaign I'd like to do. I'm really aiming for historical accuracy and the campaign has fixed starting setups, and Order of battles with units arriving at historical tim...
